The Red Hill basketball Salukis captured the consolation championship of the 2026 Midland Trail Conference (MTC) tournament.
They beat the Wayne City Indians 59-40 Friday night at Woodlawn to improve to 10-12 on the season and win their second game in a row.
It was a historic night as senior guard Ozzy Ash became the all-time leading scorer in Red Hill High School history surpassing 2004 Saluki graduate Brandon Christy in the win. Ash now has 1,814 points and counting for his career.
Red Hill returns to action Friday when they host the Vincennes Rivet Patriots Friday night at Red Hill Jr/Sr High School in Bridgeport.
