Ancilla to celebrate national champion women's bowling team DONALDSON - The Ancilla College Women’s Bowling team will be presented their national championship rings in a ceremony at Quick’s Lanes in Plymouth on Friday, July 5 at 1 p.m. The Lady Chargersbrought home the first National Championship in any sport to Ancilla in March, at the end of just their third season in competition. Coach Al Franklin is excited to present the rings to his team "These young ladies worked really hard this year and are so deserving of this honor," he said. "I am thrilled that we were able to bring home the national championship to Ancilla, but also so proud of this team.” The members of the team are, Alecia Albanese (Griffith, IN), Taylor Ellison (Lafayette, IN), Breanna Gibbons (Frankfort, IN), Taylor Landes (Lafayette, IN), Mackenzie Laskey (York, SC), Brooklynn Schutz (Elkhart, IN).
