Adam Calhoun hired as PHS Girls Soccer Coach

Plymouth High School is excited to announce the hiring of Adam Calhoun as the new head coach of the Plymouth Girls Soccer program.

Adam Calhoun joins Plymouth High School after serving as the JV Head Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for the 2024 season, where the team reached the IHSAA Class AA Sectional Final.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Calhoun to the Plymouth Girls Soccer program,” said Josh Troyer, Director of Athletics at Plymouth High School. “His background in coaching and commitment to student-athletes will make a significant impact on our program. We’re looking forward to the future of Plymouth Girls Soccer under his leadership.” 

Coach Calhoun graduated from Argos High School in 2009 and holds an A.S. in General Studies and an A.S. in Behavioral Sciences from Ancilla Domini College. He has built a reputation for developing top-level goalkeepers and emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and success both on and off the field. 

"I am very excited to help lead a great group of student-athletes on the field as well as off," said Coach Adam Calhoun. "I think the future is very bright for Plymouth Girls Soccer, and my family and I are excited to be Rockies!" 

Coach Calhoun is joined by his wife, Lindsey, and their son, Stetson. 

Previously, he held several key coaching roles, including head coach for the LaVille High School boys varsity team, assistant coach for the Haiti Women’s National Soccer Team, and goalkeeper coach at both Ancilla College and Culver Girls Academy. His teams have achieved multiple championships and high-ranking finishes.
