Play got underway in the 6 team Little League 12U District 1 Tournament Sunday at Lawrenceville City Park Field.
Two opening round games were played. Robinson nipped Olney 3-2 in 10 innings in the first game and it was Salem blasting Wabash Co 15-0 in game two. Play continues Monday night with host Lawrenceville meeting Robinson in game one at 5:30 p.m. and Salem facing Mt Carmel in game two around 7:45 p.m. Winners play again Wednesday. Both Olney and Wabash Co have a loss in the double elimination tournament and will play again Tuesday.
