Sherry Ann Combs, 72, of Winamac

Sherry Ann Combs, 72, of Winamac, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

She passed away at home surrounded by her family. Sherry was born on March 7, 1954 in Plymouth to the late Harold and Delores (Smith) Milliser. She attended grade school in Monterey and high school in Winamac. On October 21, 1972, Sherry married Roger Lee Combs in Winamac. He passed away on August 7, 1998. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She adored her family and cherished time spent together with them.

Around 40 years ago, Sherry proudly graduated from Knox Beauty College. She absolutely loved working as a beautician, retiring in 1990. She began her career alongside Karen Scheffer and later became the owner and operator of Sherry’s Hair Designs in Winamac. Sherry worked hard throughout her life – holding jobs at Eaton’s, K-Mart, and Eastern Pulaski Community Schools. Everywhere she went, she made a difference in people’s lives.

Sherry faithfully read her Bible daily and loved to worship the Lord. She enjoyed crafting and was known for her handmade cards for all occasions. Sherry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.

Private Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in North Judson.
