Patricia L. Perry 84, of Akron, Indiana, passed away at 10:29 A.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on May 1, 1941 in Rochester, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur L. and Helen Louise (Sanders) Gordon. On March 3, 1978 at the First Christian Church in Rochester, Indiana, she married Alton L. Perry. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2024.
Pat had worked as a secretary for Moore Business Forms and Fulton Industries. She had also worked for Viking Foods, Akron and had worked the concession stand for the Akron Go Cart Speedway. She had been a member of the First Christian Church and Beaver Dam Community Church, where she was active in Wheels of Fire. For many years, she and her husband were foster parents. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, camping especially at Lakeview Campgrounds and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Jamie (Angie) Perry, Mentone, Indiana, Ryan (Jodee) Perry, Rochester, Indiana, Brandon Perry, Akron, Indiana, Jayne (Donnie) Kohls, Rochester, Indiana, grandchildren, Jessica Smallwood, Justin L. Perry, Kelsey Perry, Justin R. Perry, George B. Bonin, Shelly Kohls, Madison Ottow, Reed Perry, Reagan Perry, seventeen great grandchildren, and brother, William J. (Joan) Gordon, Rochester, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and great granddaughter, Amelia Perry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
