Myrna Lou (Holsinger) Stull, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Walkerton, Indiana. A devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, Myrna’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to family, community, and service.
Born on January 27, 1940, in Logansport, Indiana, Myrna was the daughter of Herbert and Eleanor Holsinger. She grew up in Walkerton, graduated from Walkerton High School in 1958, and attended Indiana State University. Her early years laid the foundation for a life dedicated to caring for others and living out her values with grace and compassion.
Myrna married Lynn L. Stull on September 18, 1959, in Walkerton, and together they built a loving home filled with faith and joy until his passing on August 20, 2017. Their union was blessed with four children: Tamela (Haze) Pulluaim of Walkerton; Thomas (Connie) Stull of Plymouth; Ted (Kim) Stull of Walkerton; and David (Tori) Stull of Walkerton. Myrna’s legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Whitaker, Three Rivers, MI; Jeffrey (Denise) Holsinger, West Terre Haute, IN; and brother-in-law, Rex Stull, Fort Wayne, IN; sister-in-law, Carol Foster, Plymouth, IN.
Over the years Myrna enjoyed working at Heiles Restaurant, JC Penney, and selling Stanley Home Products. She also enjoyed working in Activities & Social Services at Millers Merry Manor from 1981 until her retirement in 2000. In this role, she brought warmth, creativity, and compassion to countless residents over nearly two decades. Her dedication to enhancing the lives of others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Beyond her career, Myrna’s heart belonged to her family and her church community. She was an active member of the Blissville congregation where she served faithfully as a Deacon and on numerous committees. Her love for Jesus guided every aspect of her life—from the way she raised her children to how she interacted with friends and strangers alike. She taught those around her the power of trust and prayer, always greeting others with kind words and a radiant smile.
Myrna also found joy in music, playing the clarinet in the high school band. She could play many instruments by ear. The grandchildren witnessed this as they sat next to her at the piano playing their favorite songs. She cherished the time spent with loved ones. Whether through song or shared moments around the table, she celebrated life’s blessings with gratitude and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Lynn; her sister Norma Corbett; her brothers-in-law Leroy Whitaker, Mike Corbett, and Bruce Foster; and sister-in-law Sandy Stull.
