Joseph E. Endres, 82, of Bourbon, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 in his home.

Joseph was born on August 20, 1942 to Joseph M. and Eileen L. (Cronin) Endres in Hammond, IN. He served in the United States Navy for 6 years during the Vietnam War. He married Anna Faricelli on September 1, 1973 in Cedar Lake, IN and she survives. He worked for Walter H. Flood Company performing soil testing for 7 years in Chicago, he also worked for Ferro Corp. of Plymouth, IN in the maintenance department, then for Bates Corporation and Tractor Parts of Bourbon, IN, in the maintenance department. He was a member of the American Legion #27 of Plymouth, IN and the Legion Riders of Highland, IN. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and fishing.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Anna Endres of Bourbon, IN; his daughters: Eileen S. (Geno) Price of Culver, IN; MaryAnn M. (Matt) Senff of Orange Park, FL; his sons: Timothy P. (Andrea) Endres of Texas; Joseph S. Endres of Griffith, IN; Michael E. (Elizabeth) Endres of Argos, IN; Frank A. Endres of Plymouth, IN; his 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Darlene Rose of Cedar Lake, IN; Carol Weaver of Griffith, IN; Judith Wyrick of Griffith, IN; Ardith (John) Rasronski of Lowell, IN; Cindy (Paul) Bennett of Monticello, IN; and his brothers: Robert (Dottie) Endres of Decatur, IL; and Jerry Endres of Hessville, IN.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Eileen Endres, and his infant daughter, Michelle.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563). Military Honors will take place at 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Kristin Harp officiating.

The burial will take place at New Oak Hill Cemetery on a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s honor to Argos United Methodist Church (570 N Michigan St., Argos, IN 46501).
