George Hensley, 92, of North Judson, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Munster, Indiana.
He was born Monday, October 23, 1933 in Jackson, Kentucky, Son of the late Price Hensley and the late Mary(Joseph) Hensley.
July 2, 1951, George married the love of his life Jannie Fletcher, together the shared a loving 75 years together.
George was a member of the Knox Free Will Baptist Church and also a Deacon of the church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He enjoyed watching the North Judson Ball games. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He worked for Ford Motor Company.
Surviving are his Wife, Jannie Hensley of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Dale(Penny) Hensley of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Lester(Charlene) Hensley of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Rick(Kathy) Hensley of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Mark Hensley of North Judson, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, Brother, Arnold(Judy) Hensley of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Virginia Mervine of Mishawaka, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by son Winford Hensley, parents Price and Mary Hensley, brothers Curtis, JB, Raymond, Otis, Vernon and Jewel Hensley and sisters Dorothy Jean Fisher, Edith Craft and Edna Pugh.
Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Friday, October 23, 2026 at Braman and Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.
Services will be held at Free Will Baptist Church, Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 11 AM with Rev Bret Elkin officiating.
Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, IN 46366.
