Brian G. McKee, 68, of Mishawaka, formerly of Plymouth

Brian Glen Mckee, age 68, of Mishawaka, Indiana, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Monday evening, July 14, 2025 at Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.

Brian was born on November 8, 1956 in Plymouth, Indiana to Wayne and Glenna (Smith) Mckee. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1975. He married Lisa Miller on July 6, 1980. She preceded him in death after 37 years of marriage. He served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He retired after more than 20 years of employment from Hoosier Racing Tire. He was a devoted husband and loved his fur children, his beloved cats: Benny, Milo, and Tucker, just to name a few. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and anything outdoors. He was an avid cook. His specialty dish was Shepard’s Pie. He loved old Rock & Roll music, watching his birds, and Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears Football. 

Brian was a Junior State Archery Champion at the age of 9. After retirement, Brian loved to spend time with his niece, Summer and great niece, Violet who gave him great joy. Brian had a loving heart and enjoyed helping others. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Brian is survived by his sister, Peggy Mckee of Plymouth, Indiana; his brother, Joe (Shelly) Mckee of Plymouth, Indiana; many nieces and nephews. 

Brian was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Glenna Mckee, and his wife, Lisa Mckee.

A special thank you to all his medical team at St. Joseph Hospital, AMG, and Methodist Hospital who took such great care of him. And a special huge thank you to Nurse Rob for your unwavering support.

Aquamation has been chosen, and the family will be planning services at a later date.
