Brandon Michael Davis, 51, of Shelbyville

Brandon Michael Davis, 51, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his residence.

He was born April 3, 1975, in Shelbyville to James Davis and Nancy (DeBaun) Coffey.

He married the love of his life Erika (Kelley) Davis and she survives.

Brandon graduated from Shelbyville High School with the class of 1993. During his school years, he was an avid swimmer and enjoyed karate.

Shortly after high school he began his career with Beaty Construction. Brandon took his job very seriously and enjoyed working for the Beaty family. He was a dedicated construction manager with over 30 years of service at Beaty Construction. He was known as a problem solver from his years of experience in the industry. Brandon enjoyed ATV rides, dirt bikes, fishing, playing cards and racing trips. He also enjoyed doing projects around the house and relaxing with a cold Bud Light. His most cherished times were spent making memories with Erika, his family and his friends.

Brandon was a member of the National Rifle Association, American Legions Post 70, and the American Cement Association. He was a former member of the Indiana Labor Union and Indiana Carpenter Union. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2695.

He is also survived by his daughter, Kaitlin Davis; son, Brant Davis; step-daughters, Meagan (husband, Tate) Linville and Courtney (husband, Jake) Stanton; step-son, Austin (wife, Jamie) Paul; brother, Clinton Coffey; sister, Janell Coffey; step-brother, Jeremy Wagner; step-sister, Jennifer Gugel; grandchildren, Quinton, Sophia, Charlie, August and Georgia; father, James Davis; mother, Nancy (husband, Randy) Coffey; and mother-in-law, Donna Blaich.

He was preceded in death by his son, Conner Ryleigh Davis; stepmother, Teresa Davis; paternal grandparents, Ligonal ‘Junior’ and Virginia Davis; and maternal grandparents, Leonard ‘Snook’ and Betty DeBaun.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Brandon to the Cancer Association of Shelby County, 31 Public Sq., Shelbyville, IN, 46176
