Brad Lamar Witham, 71, of Mentone, passed at 12:00 pm, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester, Indiana.
Brad was born on October 30, 1954 in Rochester, Indiana to the late Ned Lamar and Sandra Ann (Zimmerman) Witham. He attended school in Mentone and then served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1975. He was married to Barb Gearhart and then to Charlene Lackey.
He worked for Biomet Orthopedics for many years, where he worked in packaging. He enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his brothers.
He is survived by his son Randy Witham and companion Taylor Whybrew of Mentone; step children Michelle and husband Kirt Johnston, Matt and wife Carrye Boggs, and James Boggs; 8 Grandchildren; and siblings Chris and wife Mary Witham of Burket, Novelene Witham of Mentone, Arica Hoffer of Palestine, Tracy Witham of Palestine, Piper and husband Chris LeCount of Wakarusa, Fritz and wife Shonda Witham of Sevastopol, and Eva Jackson.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Barb Gearhart, and son Robert Witham, and step daughter Kristi Wishon.
Memorial visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm, Monday, July 20, 2026 at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana
His interment will take place privately in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana with military honors performed.
