PLYMOUTH- Betty Ann Risner, 79, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, July 31, 2026.
She was born on September 26, 1946, to Clifford and Margaret (Warner) Milliser. Betty shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with her soulmate, Bob Risner, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2018.
Betty dedicated 20 years as a waitress at Huddle Grill, where she was known for her friendly smile and hardworking spirit. She also faithfully cared for Trinity United Methodist Church, ensuring everything was clean and ready for worship services.
A true fireball, Betty lived life with energy, laughter, and love. She had a gift for making her family smile and always wanted the very best for those she loved. That caring spirit became part of the legacy she passed down to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She took pride in always looking her best, making sure her hair and nails were done. Betty enjoyed shopping, watching horror movies, and spending time with those she loved.
To call Betty an animal lover would be an understatement. Throughout her life, she welcomed countless cats and dogs into her home, often taking in strays and making sure they were cared for and found loving homes.
Her love, kindness, and unforgettable personality will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her children, Ross (Patricia) Haynes of Destin, Florida, and Tammy Haynes of North Webster; her grandchildren, Summer LaBere, Brittany Haynes, George Herring, Samantha Herring, Austin (Jill) Haynes, and Riley (Kyle) Haynes-Miller; her 11 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Donna Cole, Mark (Pam) Milliser, and Kevin (Kim) Milliser.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Margaret Milliser; her beloved husband, Bob Risner; her sister, Pam Milliser; and Sonny Milliser.
In accordance with Betty's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Her memory will live on through the laughter she inspired, the compassion she showed, and the love she gave so freely to her family, friends, and the many animals whose lives she touched.
