A woman wanted on several auto theft warrants was arrested in Parke County.
Just before 3 a.m. Saturday, Parke County deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 41 north of Rockville after they spotted a Ford F150 cross the center line. During the stop, it was determined that the driver, Carrie Stichter, 45, of Almo, was wanted on multiple warrants.
Stichter was taken to the Parke County Jail to await extradition. She was wanted on four warrants in Vigo County along with auto theft warrants in Clay and Owen counties and another from Tennessee.
