How well do you know your farm’s financial numbers?
Join the Purdue Extension EDGE in Ag Team for Know Your Numbers, Know your Options, a four-session virtual workshop designed to help farm operators better understand their financial position and use that information to make informed business decisions. The virtual Know Your Numbers, Know Your Options series will be held on November 17 & 24 and Dec. 1 & 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. EST.
Throughout the series, you’ll connect with agricultural experts and fellow producers to explore key financial management topics that can impact the future of your operation. The course requires participants to have an internet connection. Individuals will find many opportunities for questions, sharing, and connecting with the presenters and other participants. Upon completion of this program, participants will have a better understanding of how financial records can be used to make decisions.
Session highlights are as follows:
Week 1 – Goals and Recordkeeping
Week 2 – Cash Flow and Income Statement Fundamentals
Week 3 – Ratios, Land Leases and Negotiations
Week 4 – Tying It All Together & Looking to the Future
Registration is $20 per participant. Register by November 16 at the following website: https://cvent.me/lbMK32. Please consider investing a few evenings this winter to gain valuable tools, practical insights, and greater confidence in making farm business decisions by participating in the Know Your Numbers, Know Your Options program series.
