A planned housing complex has received a boost.
The Vincennes City Council Monday approved a resolution for a 10 year, 60% tax abatement for the $30 million Bierhaus Flats project.
The 240 unit multi-family development will be built on property near Kohls.
The move was made by council members after a public hearing held prior to their session at City Hall.
It is anticipated that construction could begin later this spring.
