The Vincennes Board of Works has taken steps toward the completion of the Washington Street project.
That approved a contract with the firm of Schneider Geometrics for just over $15,600 for right of way engineering, surfacing and staking work on Phase II. That phase is expected to begin in 2027 and cover the area from Emison Avenue to St Clair Street. The approval was given Monday during the board's regular session at City Hall.
