Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will conduct seal coat operations on U.S. 35 between State Road 119 and State Road 16 starting on or after Monday, August 17.
Scrub seal operations will take place for approximately four days during the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should seek alternate routes. The recommended state road detour is State Road 14, State Road 39 and State Road 16.
State Road 119 is currently closed between State Road 16 and U.S. 35 due to flooding and may not reopen prior to these operations on U.S. 35.
