A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive is under investigation by Plymouth Police.
Officer Wallace investigated the crash, which occurred Tuesday at 7:56 a.m. According to police, a Toyota Tacoma was headed westbound on U.S. 30 when the driver told the officer he saw the light turn red and was trying to get through the intersection. A Ford Escape was traveling eastbound and turning left, northbound, onto Pioneer Drive toward Love's Truck Stop when the Tacoma went through the red light and the two vehicles collided.
Police Chief Wier released the details to GIANT FM WTCA because the crash report was not yet complete.
Both drivers refused transportation to the Plymouth Hospital.
Additional information, including the drivers' names, will be released when more information becomes available.
