Plymouth and Marshall County police officers arrested two Plymouth residents early Saturday morning following a domestic disturbance that occurred in the presence of children.
Officers responded to 910 West LaPorte Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. on December 21st after receiving a 911 call reporting a physical altercation between a man and a woman.
Patrolman Ayala led the investigation and determined that Jordan Hanthorn, 33, and Rachel-Marie O'Brien, 30, both of Plymouth, had physically battered one another in the presence of children.

Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of:
- Felony domestic battery in the presence of a child
- Misdemeanor disorderly conduct

Charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed. Both defendants are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
