On May 2, the Plymouth Beta Delta chapter of Tri Kappa honored the impressive artistic talents of Plymouth High School students with its 2025 Spring Student Art Show. With more than 200 artworks on display at PHS, judges Christa Risher and Tony Straw from the Heartland Art Center had their work cut out for them! The judges evaluated pieces in seven categories, including two new ones: Sculpture and Sketches/Studies.
Upon deliberating, the judges deemed Kendra Arriaga’s striking Mixed-Media entry as Best-in-Show. Miss Arriaga also took home first place in the Color Drawing category. In addition to awards for 1st-5th place in the various categories, several artists were recognized by their peers with Student Choice awards. Students placing in the show received certificates, ribbons, and monetary awards provided by Tri Kappa.
The student art will be on display in the Door 5 corridor of Plymouth High School until May 12. The public may enter through Door 5 after 3:15 p.m.
