A single-vehicle motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Tippecanoe man.
Marshall County deputies were dispatched to Fir and 19B Roads just after 1 p.m. Friday. It was determined that Gary Miller, 73, of Tippecanoe had been riding his 2003 Harley XL8 north on Fir Road. For an unknown reason, Miller lost control of the motorcycle causing him to fall from the motorcycle and strike the roadway.
Miller was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Argos Police Department, Argos EMS, and Lutheran EMS.
