Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop reports that three people were given prison terms on drug offenses after appearances in Lawrence County Circuit Court.
39-year-old Amber Rogers of Bridgeport was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. She was placed on probation but violated the terms. As a result, Rogers was sentenced to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
22-year-old Blace Bloebaum of Lawrenceville was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was given probation but violated the terms. He was also charged again with Unlawful Possession of Meth while serving probation. Bloebaum was given 3 1/2 years in the IDOC to be followed by 6 months of mandatory supervised release on each offense. The sentences will run concurrently.
45-year-old Jason Fredrick of Lawrenceville was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was handed a 7-year prison term to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
