Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced sentencing of defendants in recent court appearances.
Stephon Smith, 29, of Lawrenceville, was charged with Aggravated Battery, a Class 2 Illinois felony. He was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (DOC) along with one year of mandatory supervised release.
Stacie Jefferson, 54, of Lawrenceville, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois felony and received four years in the DOC along with up to six months of mandatory supervised release.
Monyck O'Bryant,27, of Lincoln, IL, was also charged with Unlawful Possession of Meth and was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in the DOC along with up to 6 months of mandatory supervised release.
