State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla marked her first year in office this week by reflecting on the accomplishments of 2024.
“Serving the great State of Indiana is a profound honor, and I am pleased to report highlights my team and I have accomplished so far for Hoosier taxpayers,” said Comptroller Nieshalla.

“I’m at your service, Indiana, and we are fortunate to be in a strong financial position – with balanced budgets, healthy cash reserves, low debt, well-funded pensions and a AAA credit rating,” commented Comptroller Nieshalla. “With the budget session of the General Assembly about to commence, our office is at the ready to provide fiscal reports to help inform decision making.”
