Wild Rose Moon is set to host the heartfelt folk-soul duo StarHeart for a special live concert and radio recording session on Saturday, May 9th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Comprised of siblings Jake Borowski and Jess Lucille, StarHeart carries forward their late mother's deep reverence for the folk tradition. Growing up surrounded by her collection of folk instruments, the duo now shares messages of love and renewal through original songs that seamlessly weave together folk, soul, and world-inspired rhythms.
Drawing influence from iconic songwriters such as Paul Simon, John Denver, and the Indigo Girls, StarHeart aims to create an immersive musical experience that invites audiences to sing along and be fully present. The upcoming performance will feature original tracks, including "Goodnight My Love," a tender song penned by Jess that reflects on a mother's longing for a daughter who has left home for college.
The event aligns with Wild Rose Moon's ongoing mission to bring meaningful, high-quality live music from dynamic regional artists to the community. Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and dedication to the arts, the venue provides an ideal setting for StarHeart's uplifting sound.
Tickets for the performance are $25 and can be purchased online at wildrosemoon.com or locally at A.S.K. for Flowers.
The recorded performance will later be featured on the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour, which broadcasts the first Saturday of every month at 12:00 noon on WVPE 88.1 FM, and at 10:00 p.m. on WNIT PBS Michiana, Channel 34.1.
