A wanted Lawrence County man was picked up by authorities in neighboring Wabash County this week. The Mt Carmel Police Department reports that on Tuesday, a traffic stop was made at a city intersection on a vehicle being driven by 57 year old Chester Ness the 2nd of St Francisville. An identification check found that Neff was wanted on a warrant out of Knox County Indiana. He was taken into custody and taken to the Wabash County Jail in Mt Carmel where he was being held for extradition to Indiana.
