A camper at Jellystone Campground west of Plymouth was booked into the Marshall County Jail following a fight about stolen marijuana.
On Saturday, August 2nd, at 9:17 pm Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to Jellystone Yogi Bear Campground located at 7719 Redwood Road in Plymouth for a domestic.
40-year-old Ernesto Sanchez of South Bend was identified as one of the parties involved in the fight. It was alleged that he confronted another individual at the campground about stealing marijuana from his vehicle, then causing a fight to break out between the two individuals.
The second person involved was located with what appeared to be a broken leg or dislocated knee.
Sanchez was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked for domestic battery causing moderate bodily injury, as a level 6 felony. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond until 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
