Blue River Bowl is closed until further notice following an early morning fire Wednesday.
Just before 1 a.m., the Shelbyville Fire Department was dispatched to Blue River Bowl, 1601 South Miller Street, for a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, crews found fire on the roof of the building. Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the blaze, preventing further damage.
The cause of the fire remain under investigation.
In a social media post, Blue River Bowl stated that they will be closed until further notice due to fire damage.
The message went on to say - "While this is a difficult moment, we are beyond grateful for the quick action of our first responders and the caring citizens who saw and called in the fire. Your courage and support made all the difference. We are thankful to say no one was injured! Our community has always been our strength, and we’ll keep you updated as we work toward recovery."
