Shelby County will maintain the current travel status of TRAVEL WARNING (red) for all of Shelby County until road
and weather conditions improve.
The county officials will reevaluate the road conditions at 6 a.m. Tuesday and if road conditions allow, the travel
status will be downgraded to TRAVEL WATCH (orange).
The Shelby County Highway Department has plowed all the roads in Shelby County at least once, but please be aware that high winds tonight could cause over night drifting. Even if the travel status is downgraded, there will still be the possibility of snow and ice covered roads and you should use caution when traveling.
During a TRAVEL WATCH (orange), only essential travel is allowed by state law.
