Shelbyville Central Schools will host a free Parent Workshop on Jan. 29 at the administrative offices.
Topics covered will be:
- Is technology changing your child’s behavior? Learn how student technology use affects mood, attention, and social skills – and how to set healthy limits
- Stop the school/home behavior gap: Discover practical, easy-to-implement strategies to make behavior expectations consistent between the classroom and your home
- Accepting “No”: Get expert guidance on teaching your child how to accept limits and build resilience when they don’t get their way
The workshop is for parents and guardians only. No childcare will be available on site.
The event will start at 6 p.m. at 1121 E. State Road 44 in Shelbyville.
