The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Saturday afternoon, August 3rd.
At 4:40 county officers were dispatched to U.S. 30 and Union Road where police say a 2016 Ford F150 driven by 22-year-old Brittany Humes of Plymouth was crossing U.S. 30 to head north on Union Road. She failed to yield to a 2017 Subaru Outback driven by 36-year-old Stephanie Paulson of Union Mills that was traveling west on U.S. 30.
Stephanie Paulson and her juvenile passenger were transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment.
The Plymouth Fire Department assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at the scene. Lyons Towing also assisted.
