On Wednesday, December 5th at approximately 10:45 pm the Marshall County Dispatch Center reported a suspicious male at a residence on Yarlett Street in Culver. The male was banging on the door and pushing in windows.
Marshall County Deputies and Culver Police responded to the scene and encountered a male, later identified as Kristopher R. Czichilski, 46, of Rochester. The male became uncooperative with officers at the scene. During their investigation, narcotics were located.
Czichilski was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, refusal to identify, and resisting law enforcement.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
