Plymouth Police were dispatched to Pioneer Drive and Lincolnway West at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday, for the report of a possible impaired driver.
Officer Witkowski located the vehicle traveling east on Jefferson and initiated a traffic stop at Plum Street.
The driver, Jorge Luis Rivera Jr., 37, of Argos, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a blood test, which confirmed he was above .15.
Rivera Jr. was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
