The annual Relay for Life of Marshall County yard sale returns today, Friday, June 5th, with a wide variety of items available for shoppers looking to support the fight against cancer.
The sale will be held at the Lion's Pavilion across from the tennis courts in Centennial Park, beginning at 8 a.m. Organizers say donations have come in from numerous households, resulting in a large and diverse selection of items.
Shoppers can expect to find a rocking chair, a small desk, puzzles, books, seashell collections, a Trek bike, a bike rack, a battery-powered dog fence, a new electric weed eater, coolers, luggage, Longaberger and Thirty-One products, a Cabbage Patch doll, craft items, antiques, kitchen and household goods, home décor, holiday items, and much more.
In addition to the yard sale, Marshall County Relay for Life will be selling luminary bags at the event. The bags will line the walking path at the organization's main Relay for Life event, scheduled for Saturday, September 26th.
All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society's mission to fund cancer research and support those affected by the disease. Organizers encourage the community to come out, browse, and support a worthy cause.
