The Red Hill Unit #10 Board of Education is continuing to be proactive in making needed repairs to its buildings.
They voted Thursday night in Bridgeport to accept the bid of Alliance Mechanical Services out of Bensenville, Illinois for the Sumner Attendance Center (SAC) steam trap replacement project. The work will be paid for through the district 1% facilities fund.
The low bid of Palestine Home and Hardware Company from Palestine, Ill was approved for the exterior door rekeying work to take place at Red Hill Jr./Sr. High School.
In other actions, the board approved the re-employment of several district teachers after evaluation and will revisit the district track and field athletic participation policy in the future..
