The Red Hill Unit #10 Board of Education is moving forward with plans to improve its district-wide facilties in the future. T
he board Thursday approved a resolution of agreement with the Northern Illinois firm ENGIE for design and development services for phased-in modernization improvement projects. The terms call for ENGIE to look at the projected designs costs of each project and of the total projects overall. The board will look to fund the improvements through bonding and other methods.
The board also approved the purchase and installation of security cameras in all the district building at a cost of just over $134,000 from Synergy and also approved the FY 2025 tentative budget. That spending plan will be available for public inspection for a month until a budget hearing set for Thursday September 19.
