The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are conducting the Transportation Management Area (TMA) Certification Review for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO).
This federal process occurs every four years for metropolitan planning organizations with populations larger than 200,000.
As part of this process, FHWA and FTA are seeking public feedback from those in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby counties regarding the transportation planning process and interactions with IMPO.
