Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Red Rock Inn for the report of a possible domestic disturbance Sunday morning, July 13th, just after 2 o’clock.
During an investigation, it was discovered that 35-year-old Robert Powell of Plymouth was in violation of an active No Contact Order with 40-year-old Charity Olinger, who was also living in the Red Rock Inn. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked in for the pending charge of invasion of privacy and given a court date in Marshall Superior Court II and a cash bond of $500.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
