The public's help is sought after a Rochester man was shot Friday night in the 1200 block of Lakeshore Drive.
The shooting was reported just before 10 p.m. by the victim, who advised 911 that he was shot outside while getting something from a vehicle. Emergency personnel were subsequently dispatched and located him with what is believed to be a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was transported via EMS for appropriate treatment.
Police say the incident does not appear to be a random act, and investigation is ongoing.
