The New Palestine Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place Tuesday night just after 10:00 p.m., at the Speedway located at 5058 West US 52.
A black male, approximately 5’4"- 5’8", approximately 160 pounds, entered the store and demanded cash from the register. Although no weapon was displayed, the man stated he was in possession of a firearm. The subject then fled on foot after receiving cash from the register.
A K9 track was conducted through the area north of the Speedway and the suspect was not located.
The New Palestine Police Department obtained photos from video surveillance at Speedway and is asking the public’s help in identifying this suspect. The New Palestine Police Department release states that it's an ongoing investigation and there is no current threat to the general public.
