The Plymouth School Board is notifying taxpayers of two public hearings, known as Preliminary Determination Hearings, for a variety of projects.
The Plymouth School Board is considering obtaining financing for school construction projects through general obligation bonds. Following the Preliminary Determination Hearings, the Board will consider adoption of a Resolution for the project.
The project consists of acquiring property, constructing, extending, altering, improving, remodeling, and equipping renovations to the school buildings. Projects include HVAC improvements, specifically chillers; roofing improvements; window improvements; new carpeting; security improvements; new furniture and computer equipment; buses; lighting improvements; athletic facility improvements, specifically gym and field improvements; and parking lot and sidewalk improvements. The bond would cover the necessary expenses.
The Preliminary Determination Hearings will be held on November 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the School Corporation’s Administration Building located at 611 Berkley Street.
At each hearing, interested citizens will have the right to be heard regarding the board’s consideration of adopting the Resolution.
