A driver with a nationwide warrant was arrested last Saturday by an officer with the Plymouth Police Department.

Just before 6 p.m. Saturday, Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Michigan and Harrison Street because the registered owner was shown to have a warrant.

During the stop, the male passenger was identified as Baylee Elizalde, 27, of Plymouth. The officer asked dispatch to verify Elizalde's name and date of birth and was advised he had a nationwide warrant out of Hancock County, Indiana, for probation violation.

The registered owner was not in the vehicle. Elizalde was transported to Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for his warrant.
