Plymouth Police arrested two individuals on Saturday, August 9th where alcohol was a factor in their arrests.
At approximately 1:15 in the morning, Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to a residence on Dora Lane for an unknown female pounding on the window. The witness claimed the female appeared to be highly intoxicated and in some distress.
Arriving on scene, Officer Witkowski located the female lying in a field behind the residence. Stephanie S. Hill, 45, from North East Court in Bremen, was transported to the Plymouth Hospital. A blood test revealed her alcohol content to be 0.14. Hill also admitted that she was under the influence of marijuana. She was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. She is charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Saturday night, August 9th, at approximately 8:25, Officer Miller with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a welfare check on a driver in a running vehicle in the 1300 block of Holloway Drive.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 28-year-old Jesse James Bloomfield of Tyner. Bloomfield was found to be intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 0.224. Bloomfield was taken into custody for felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, and OVWI over .15. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
