The Plymouth Fire Department's annual Golf Outing returns on Tuesday, June 3rd at Pretty Lake Golf Club, bringing together golfers for a great day on the links while raising money for a worthy cause.
Registration and lunch begin at 11:00 a.m., with tee-off scheduled for noon. The cost is $100 per golfer.
The outing serves as a fundraiser for the Firemen's Memorial Scholarship Fund, which awards $1,000 scholarships to Plymouth High School seniors for their freshman year of college. The department says it has been fortunate to award between four and six scholarships each year to deserving graduates.
To help maximize the amount of money directed toward scholarships, the fire department is offering sponsorship opportunities to local businesses and individuals. Hole sponsorships are available for $150, which includes a sign featuring the sponsor's name and/or logo placed at one of the 18 tee boxes. Beer cart sponsorships are also available for $200.
