The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth Common Council will both convene on Monday evening in the second-floor Council Chambers at City Hall, with meetings beginning at 6:00 PM.
The Board of Public Works and Safety opens the evening with reports from various city department heads and the city attorney. The Clerk-Treasurer will bring forward two requests for board consideration: a placement request from Marshall County Relay for Life for Purple Ribbons, and a reimbursement request from JLBS Construction. Board members will also review and approve claims.
The Common Council meeting follows at 6:30 PM with a full agenda.
The evening opens with a public hearing on additional appropriations, giving residents a chance to weigh in before the council votes on those requests later in the meeting.
Council members will take up the second and third readings of an ordinance that would vacate a portion of the alley east of Dora Lane and south of Illinois Street, as well as vacate New York Street east of Dora Lane and Hoover Street.
The council will also hear the first reading of an ordinance proposing amendments to the fee schedule for the city's Aviation Department and will vote on the resolution for the additional appropriations requests heard during the public hearing.
Rounding out the agenda, council members will receive updates on ONE Marshall County and the city's Comprehensive Plan.
Both meetings are open to the public on the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall. The meetings are also open to the public and streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
