A Plymouth man was arrested May 8 after city police were called to the Red Rock Inn for a physical fight with a crutch.
At approximately 5:25 p.m., officers from the Plymouth Police Department went to the Red Rock Inn for a physical fight. During their investigation, it was determined that Michael Pittman, 44, of the Red Rock Inn, had gotten into a physical altercation with two other men.
Pittman was determined to be the aggressor in the situation and had battered multiple victims with a walking crutch. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged for a battery as a Level 5 felony. He was issued a bond and court date in Marshall County Superior Court 3.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
