The PHS Alumni in the Park 2025 will be held this coming Friday, known as Big Red Weekend.
River Park Square will host the assembly of PHS alumni beginning at 6 p.m. The short program starts at 6:45, followed by the fantastic band Blammo. Food trucks start serving at 5 p.m. Class canopies may be erected beginning at noon around the outside area of River Park Square, allowing chairs for others to enjoy the evening.
Mayor Robert Listenberger from the PHS Class of 1983 will open the festivities, and members of the newly formed board will be present. Janis Jeffirs Holiday will emcee, announcing the alumni gathering for their big alumni celebrations. Big celebrations this year are 1979, 1975, 1980, 1985, and other significant years. Holiday will introduce Jeanne Tanner and Allie Shook, board members, who will announce distinguished alumni recognition.
This is the seventh PHS Alumni in the Park, and the committee looks forward to a large gathering with excellent weather in the forecast.
This is made possible, coinciding with the Mayor’s Summer of Music and the fantastic organizational skills of Laura Banning Mann, Mayor Listenberger, and the great donors.
