The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a two-vehicle accident on U.S 31 at 16th Road/Marshall Street in Argos on Saturday afternoon.
Deputy Nick Laffoon reported that 78-year-old Helen G. Epley of Argos was in a 2013 Ford SUV turning east on Marshall Street and was crossing the northbound lanes of U.S. 31. Epley failed to yield to a north bound 2020 GMC Yukon driven by 36-year-old Kristen M. Riegseaker of Middlebury.
Kristen Riegseaker was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Plymouth for wrist pain.
Marshall County Police were assisted by Argos Police, Fire and EMS.
