Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel at 2160 North Oak Drive on Saturday, July 6th, at 12:15 in the afternoon for a welfare check.
Officers arrived on the scene and spoke with 25-year-old Michael Egan of North Judson. It was determined that Egan was violating an active protection order, which was to prevent him from having contact with the individual he was located with.
Egan was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for invasion of privacy.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
